Well guys, I made it to Rexy! Alive and well. I am upset with myself because my roommates and I have been soooo busy we haven't really been able to photo document anything! We've been setting up our little apartment, and we dove right into school so I guess we have somewhat of an excuse. Rexburg is great, not exactly what I was expecting, but still amazing. Although I'm not looking forward to this being the first thing I see in the morning.
Makes me want to stay in my nice warm apartment with my electric blanket that I love so much. Speaking of our apartment, lets introduce you to the five lovely ladies I'll be spending the next six months with. (In no particular order...)
The lovely Adell Peck! Adell's from Kuna Idaho, and shes amazing. Really, that basically sums her up. She is a dancer, an outstanding cook-she even wears an adorable apron when she does cook, she gives amazing manicures and pedicures (even though she hates feet.) She's an art major. She wants to take Mandy and I to do "cookies" in her car. Which, from what I got out of the conversation, has something to do with cars, ice, and parking lots. But those together, and it sounds like a death sentence to me. Oh. And never tell her she can't use a $20 coupon at Great Harvest.

Roommate Number Two! Miss Cassie Barney, from Boise Idaho. Cassie is so bubbly, and so outgoing, she can make friends with anybody. Cassie is a very talented seamstress, something tells me she will be fixing/making a bunch of our clothes. She can make yummy chocolate chip pumpkin spice cookies, she can eat three HUGE JARS of applesauce in two days (because she basically drinks it..), she loves the band Parachute, and she is the single reason most of my money will be spent at the DI. (Deseret Industries).

The beautiful Jen, Jennifer, J. Hope. Jennifer is from Jerome, Idaho. I'm pretty sure she is a professional potato peeler. And I'm also pretty sure she makes the best homemade biscuits ever. Jennifer is kinda like our apartment mom, shes a year older- and she knows how everything works and which set-up in our apartment is best. She has the curliest hair, which makes me crazy jealous. She loves music, and she loves to sing. She hates it when I change a song before its over, and she may or may not have a huge crush on Jon Schmidt's son.

Say Hi to Quinci. Quinci Mortensen is from Blackfoot Idaho. But don't get too excited boys- shes in a serious relationship and shes going to be the first one of us to go. She loves volleyball-and when I say she loves volleyball I mean this girl LOVES volleyball. Like Willy Wonka loves chocolate, or Cassie loves Parachute. She played for the first time in forever the other day, and when she came home she looked like she was about to cry of happiness. Thats love, ya'll.

And last but definately not least, my roommate, the asian, Mandy Woolf! Mandy is from Georgia, and we met in person for the first time when we got to our apartments- but some mutual friends told us that we should room together since we had the same track. Best. Decision. Ever. Mandy loves country music, and has seen basically every current country icon in concert, she only takes showers at two in the morning, and she hates scary movies. She should never have told me that last part. Muhahaha. She shrieks everytime the wind blows, shes addicted to coke (like I should be talking,..), and she and I talk boys all night long. Our birthdays are two days apart, we both love fried pickles, and shrimp. This could be the start of a beautiful friendship.
I can proudly say that the first major event of our college lives happened yesterday. We adopted the newest member of our little apartment family. A fish! A little teeny tetra fish, named Tomi Greane. And he went on his first, and probably last, family outing to KiwiLoco. He likes frozen yogurt, guys. We placed bets on how long he will live, and they range from three days to the entire winter semester. C'mon wittle Tomi Greane, end of the semester. Make me proud.
